Save the Date: New Year’s Eve Festivities at Camana Bay

The festivities don’t end after Christmas! Camana Bay’s annual no-cover New Year’s Eve celebration, Saturday 31 December, promises for the fourth year to be a magical evening for families and party-goers alike with delightful dinners, tasty treats, music and entertainment and two fireworks displays overlooking the Town Centre’s massive Christmas tree on the Crescent.

A Family-Friendly Event

Kicking off around 6pm, the night’s earlier celebrations are favoured by families with children of all ages. Tuck into a handmade pizza with your family on the waterfront promenade at The Brooklyn, classic burgers and fries at Waterfront Urban Diner or bring your own picnic basket of sandwiches and finger foods for a delightful and intimate al fresco dinner in one of the flowering courtyards.

Little trotters can shake their tails on the dancefloor on the Crescent under the sparkling lights of the first fireworks display at 7pm and create their own light show with free glow sticks, necklaces and the like.

End the night on a sweet note with a scoop of gelato from Gelato & Co or an ice cream cone from Haagen-Dazs.

After Dark Affair

Mature crowds may prefer the relaxed sophistication of dinner at Abacus or a spread of Asian cuisine at Mizu before the party ramps up later in the evening and socialites flock to Camana Bay. The open-air event overlooks the harbour at Camana Bay and is hosted by Cayman’s own elite DJs, who mix the year’s top hits and throw it back with classics from the past. Drink-only service is quick and convenient from the abundant satellite bars that dot Camana Bay’s Crescent so you’re never far from the dancefloor for long.

At midnight, the harbour lights up once again for the final fireworks display and promises to be an even more impressive show than years before. But the party doesn’t stop at the clock strike; guests will continue to dance the night away, welcoming in the New Year and all its hope for joy, peace, love and happiness.
